The Evangelism Ministry is committed to ministering to the needs of the lost by any means necessary. We believe we can do all things through Christ that strengthens us through interceding for the sick, clothing the naked, feeding the hungry, and encouraging the lonely. Components of this ministry includes Prison Outreach, Matthew 25, and Street Evangelism.

MATTHEW 25 MINISTRY

The Matthew 25 Ministry is based off the scriptures that can be found in Matthew 25:33-43. A team of volunteers meet every morning to prepare the food that is served to over 1,500 per day. The Matthew 25 Ministry is more than just serving food! This ministry also provides spiritual enrichment, discipleship, counseling, food assistance, clothing & grooming assistance, and resource referrals.

PRISON MINISTRY

The Prison Ministry involves visiting area jails witnessing to inmates. A team of Evangelist go into area prisons and conduct church services four days per week. Setting the captives free is the basis and letting them know that just because they are behind bars, they can be free in Jesus Christ.

COLLEGE MINISTRY

This ministry is an affiliate of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. In addition to the spiritual ministry, the College Ministry also assists students with groceries, supplies, and other areas as needed.

MEDIA MINISTRY

The Media Ministry is dedicated to spreading the Word of God through print and broadcast outlets. Members of the ministry team use their spiritual gifts and talents to serve the church and touch the community. Our television program, On Eagles Wings, can be seen Sunday mornings at 7:30 on WDSI-Fox 61. Also, our services can be heard each week on WNOO - 1260. Video and audio taped copies are available for purchase. Church members and visitors can also keep up with church activities by reading The Messenger - our newsletter or visit our website www.obcministries.org.

Audio & Video Tape

The Tape Ministry is a powerful tool to outreach many souls throughout the community through audio/video medium. The Tape Ministry also produces master tapes for audiocassettes sold immediately after services and programs, as well as video productions and television broadcasts.

Audio Visual

The Audio Visual Ministry supports all events with a live audience, using state-of-the-art equipment and skilled technicians to enhance what is seen and heard. Closed-circuit video projection is provided for optimum visual presentations; audio is provided for clear sound quality; and lighting is provided for professional videotaping and video projection.

Television Production

The purpose of the Television Ministry is to use the television airwaves to broadcast the Good News to a lost world, to reach the unsaved masses, and to increase awareness of Christ through God's word as given to Pastor Kevin L. Adams, Sr. The new television show, On Eagles Wings, began in July 2002.

Radio

The purpose of the Radio Ministry is to use the radio airwaves to broadcast the Good News to a lost world, to reach the unsaved masses, and to increase awareness of Christ through God's word as given to Pastor Kevin L. Adams, Sr. The radio show can be heard on Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m. and Wednesdays at 12:00 p.m. on WNOO 1260 AM.

The mission of the Website Ministry is to enhance the ministry by providing ministry, events, conferences, schedules, and other information to the nation via the world wide web.
