Salvation

Are you absolutely certain that you are saved according to the scriptures? Do you know what being SAVED really means?

Being truly "SAVED" means:

You are forgiven of your sins
In a relationship with Jesus
Chosen before the foundation of the world
Eternally bound to heaven
There are a lot of people who say that you really won't know for sure that you are saved until you die. However, the scriptures speak differently. See 1 John 5:13; John 3:16.

Remember, Jesus said that we "have everlasting life" - not get it later. It is in the present tense that means it is something that you already possess now.

Just as there are physical laws that govern the physical universe, so are there spiritual laws that govern your relationship with God.

  1. God loves you and offers freely a wonderful plan for your life. John 3:16; Ephesians 2:8
  2. Man is sinful and separated from God because of his sins. Romans 3:23; Romans 6:23
  3. Jesus Christ is God's only ways that man can be delivered from their sins and have a relationship.Romans 5:8; 1 Corinthians 15:3-6 HE IS THE ONLY WAY! John 14:6
  4. We must individually receive Christ as our Savior and Lord. The only way to receive Him is through the gift of faith that Lord gives us by His grace.

We must welcome Him into our lives. John 1:12
We must believe in Him and trust in what He has done for us through the cross, AND NOT IN OUR WORKS. Ephesians 2:8-9
We experience a new birth. John 3:1-8; 2 Peter 1:4
THERE HAS TO BE A CHANGE!

IT IS BY GRACE!  If you are unsure of your salvation or have questions about salvation, email us at olivet@obcministries.org.We invite you to read Romans 10:9-13.
