YOUTH IMPACT 

Nursery & Preschoolers (6 mo. to 1 & Walking - 5 years old)

The goal of Youth Impact is to create safe environments to pupils introduce the students to Jesus through songs, Bible stories, and creative activities.  Students will be located in the main building on the Preschool wing.


IMPACT NOW KIDS     

1st grade - 5th Grades

Every 2nd, 3rd and 4th Sunday at 10:45 AM, age-appropriate worship experiences will be held for students in the Impact Now Kids group. The Sunday Worship Experience is loaded with energy and fun and a format that includes worship, activities, and lesson in both small and large-group settings. 

 

Each Wednesday night at 6:30 PM, students will be able to interact with their peers and leaders through small groups that is focused around a biblical lesson that is designed to empower impact their spear of influence.


Middle & High School

6th grade - 12th grade

Every 2nd and 4th Sunday at 10:45 AM , environments are created encourage students to make wise choices, positively influence their friends, and experience personal ministry through serving others. Additionally, students are encouraged to begin to discover their gifts and use those gifts in the marketplace. 

 

Students also meet every Wednesday on a weekly basis in Room 209 in small groups. These groups provide an opportunity for students to gain biblical insight on how to handle real life issues in a practical way. Every fourth Wednesday, the students will visit nursing homes, where they exhibit love and serve our seasoned adults.

Pastor Chris Sands currently serves as the First Assistant to Bishop Kevin L. Adams, Sr. and serves as the Youth Pastor at Olivet Baptist Church in Chattanooga, TN.  He travels throughout the country, motivating people of every age, color, and background. His goal is to guide others into finding their God-given purposes through positive thinking habits. “Change your mind, Change your world” is one of the many motto's Pastor Sands uses to inspire youth and young adults. He has a practical approach to many of the real-life issues that haunt teenagers and adults in today’s society.   

 

Pastor Sands was a Health and Physical Education teacher in Chattanooga, TN where he taught elementary students in grades    K-5.  In addition to motivating others through public speaking and writing, he also ministers through mime. Pastor Sands is one-half of the two member Beyond Words Mime Ministry. The duo has traveled throughout the nation ministering through dance and teaching others how to effectively minister through mime.  When he isn’t ministering or working on a new project, he enjoys catching up on the latest movie, spending time with his family, or traveling.  

 

“The race is not given to the swift, nor to the strong, but to the one who endures till the end,” is a quote in which Pastor Sands has used to outline and structure the majority of his life.

 

Pastor Sands is an author, educator, visionary, and motivational speaker, and a community activist empowering the youth of today in several schools.  His most recent book entitled, “I Can’t Is for Broke Folks”, has reached people throughout the world in less than a year since its publishing. He is currently working on his next book.  Through much prayer and supplication, he will continue to pursue the calling on his life to reach teenagers and young adults across the world.
