ABOUT US
MAKE AN
IMPACT
One family. Three campuses. One Kingdom mission.
WE ARE
OLIVET
Your giving fuels worship, discipleship, outreach, and the practical care happening through every OBC campus.
We believe in one God, Creator of all things, holy, infinitely perfect, and eternally existing in a loving unity of three equally divine Persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
We believe that Jesus Christ is God incarnate, fully God and fully man, one Person in two natures. Jesus—Israel's promised Messiah—was conceived through the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary.
We believe that the Holy Spirit, in all that He does, glorifies the Lord Jesus Christ. He convicts the world of its guilt. He regenerates sinners, and in Him they are baptized into union with Christ and adopted as heirs in the family of God.
We believe that God has spoken in the Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, through the words of human authors. As the verbally inspired Word of God, the Bible is without error in the original writings.
We believe that the shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provide the only ground for justification and salvation for all who believe, and only such as receive Jesus Christ are born of the Holy Spirit.
We believe that water baptism and the Lord's Supper are ordinances to be observed by the Church during the present age. They are, however, not to be regarded as means of salvation.
We believe that the true Church comprises all who have been justified by God's grace through faith alone in Christ alone. They are united by the Holy Spirit in the body of Christ, of which He is the Head.

OUR STORY
A BEACON
OF HOPE
For decades, Olivet Baptist Church has stood as a beacon of hope, healing, and transformation in the heart of Chattanooga
What began as a faithful gathering of believers has blossomed into a multi-campus movement dedicated to Kingdom building. Under the visionary leadership of Bishop Kevin L. Adams, Sr., Olivet has expanded its reach beyond the four walls of the traditional church, seeking to meet people exactly where they are.
Our journey is marked by a relentless pursuit of community impact. From our historic Main Campus downtown to the expansive Olivet Nation campus, and our dedicated Matthew 25 outreach center, every step of our growth has been fueled by one desire: to model the Kingdom of God in the earth. We are more than a church; we are a family.
THROUGH COVENANT RELATIONSHIPS, WE WILL UNITE A SPIRITUAL BOND WITH FELLOW BELIEVERS TO FULFILL THE CALL OF
KINGDOM BUILDING.

SENIOR PASTOR / TEACHER
BISHOP KEVIN L.
ADAMS, SR.
Bishop Kevin L. Adams, Sr. is a visionary leader, dynamic teacher, and compassionate pastor who has dedicated his life to empowering individuals to discover their God-given purpose. As the Senior Pastor of Olivet Baptist Church, his leadership has transformed a local congregation into a thriving, multi-campus ministry with a global reach.
Known for his profound yet practical teaching style, Bishop Adams breaks down complex biblical principles into actionable truths. His ministry emphasizes "Kingdom Authority"—equipping believers to operate in the power and dominion promised by Christ in every area of life: family, business, community, and personal growth.
Beyond the pulpit, Bishop Adams is a deeply respected community leader in Chattanooga. He has spearheaded numerous initiatives aimed at economic empowerment, educational advancement, and social justice.
